Trust Jesus

In the car this morning on the way to school:

Shark Boy: Mom look at this!
Me: I can’t right now. Look at this traffic, and the rain…
Shark Boy: Mom, look!
Me: Hang on…(changing lanes)
Shark Boy: Look what Leopard Seal can do! (stuffed seal, doing flips)
Me: I’ll look when we’re off the interstate and I can stop at a light.
Shark Boy: But he’s doing his trick now!
Me: I have to watch where I’m going, I don’t want to crash. (kamikaze merge, yikes!)
Shark Boy: Trust me Mom, it’s fine, just look!
Me: Dude, gimme a second.

Pause

Shark Boy: Mom, remember in church when we learned about trust?
Me: Yes, I remember that.
Shark Boy: Well just trust Jesus! You won’t crash!
