I start out taking a sweet picture of my father reading to my son.
But my son spots me and realizes he's on camera.
Things get less sweet and more...tongue-y and goofball-y.
It's hard to photograph boys without the superpower of invisibility.
(I've assured them I have that power, but it affects the eagle-sharp focus of the eyes in the back of my head, so I only use it in emergencies.)

Such a boy! Same thing in our house, LOL.
I have that same problem with my girls. God forbid I am able to get a picture that isn't either posed or goofy looking.
LOL! He's quite expressive huh? Cute! I love the 2nd picture!
Peggy - Yes, he's quite expressive!! I never have any worries there!
He is so stinkin' cute!
I have that same problem with my kids. Thank goodness for huge zoom lenses ;-)
SUCH a typical boy!
Now, you know if he ever posed NICE for you, you'd probably be worried!
Your dad's reaction is priceless. That's the one to cherish! Makes me miss my dad and his time with his "buddy" my son.
Thanks for the sweetness, it's all sweet!

The only thing that activates silliness like that is either a camera or a camcorder or high doses of sugar! :)
He is so cute! And what a range of facial expressions. I love the second one best :)
The Little Man is exactly the same way:P
What is it about boys and camera's?
That is so funny.
Boys, gotta love 'em! Although, the minute the Little Imp sees the camera, she starts acting like a total ham. I can't recall the last time I took just a normal photo of her. *lol*
Adorable photos...full of ham, or not. And goodness, he sure is expressive. *lol*
Auds at Barking Mad!
Well, on the bright side, at least you got a shot of his face. My son immediately turns his back when he sees my camera.
