I carry basic first-aid supplies when we go camping with the kids because I was a Girl Scout and I am a Mom Who Likes To Be Prepared.
Here is my list, followed by photographic evidence of its inadequacy.
In a quart-sized ziplock baggy (so it's waterproof): Children's chewables and Infant liquid Tylenol, Neosporin, Band-aids in several sizes, After Bite, Aloe, OFF!® (not pictured), Saline drops, and Syrup of Ipecac (but I'm afraid to use it and thank the Lord I've not had to). Sunblock of course is always with us, and this time I added Tums because Shark Boy is obsessed about tummy aches right now.
And this was when I realized I wasn't prepared enough. (ack!)
Another tip! Bring wet wipes.
Lots and lots of wet wipes!
Though I think parts of this trip went way beyond what a few wet wipes will fix...

So do you take a second car just for the first aid stuff?
Looks like you guys had a wonderful time!!

ps...wet wipes are the cure all for anything dirty! hehe
My son is here and asked, "Is that brown thing their dog?"
Ack! How did you hold the camera still to get that shot of Sharkboy with the axe? I know, it was the camera ap on your phone and you were simultaneously dialing 911, right?
boy with axe!! yikes!! you left out the valium!! and where the heck is the calgon? because if you use all that stuff i would need a serious bath in the creek or something.
I think those pics call for more like a garden hose!
Girl, you left out one of the most important first aide necessities!!! BENADRYL!!!!
And a flask in case you have to use the benadryl.
Thinking of the only camping I've done, three mission trips to Mexico, you were a very well prepared Girl Scout. Camping=getting dirty, at least in my limited experience.
Unless you can pack a tub like they do in those, um, dysfunction, commercials, you did well remembering the wet wipes!
Wow, you're really prepared for anything! I have to agree with Trenches of Mommyhood...you need a garden hose!
Trenches and Urban Cowboy - yes, turning a hose on both boys and the dog was my dad's suggestion.
oh your good. I'm lucky if I remember and spare diaper for the little one.
