Oh.My.Head. I think I just found the birthday cake I'm going to make for myself this week. LOL!
Mmmm, Texas Sheet Cake!
Fun story - This is the husband's all time favorite and he has had it for his birthday every year. We got married and I got the recipe from MIL. Three years down the road, three inedible cakes, and I figure out she sabotaged me with recipe.
I finally mastered it, but I still haven't let go of that one :-)
What more can I say? I want it.
We grew up eating this and it's an absolute favorite! NOM NOM NOM!
I'm not a big texas sheet cake fan but that does look yummy! (And LOL @ the commenter whose MIL sabotaged her.)
You had me at cocoa.
That looks amazing! Thanks for sharing!

OMG you're killing me! My mom makes a very similar cake and it's my favorite. Love it with a tall glass of cold milk.
Sheet pan? Like a 9 x 13 or a "jelly roll pan" (bigger and more shallow)?
Holy heck, that looks awesome. Mouthwatering Monday, indeed!
Yummy beyond belief....Thank you for sharing the recipe!
