Pure determination streaking towards the finish line.No one is even close to him.First place and a personal best time.Congratulations Shark Boy!We're so proud we could burst.
He really was spectacular! And as She Who Must Be Obeyed mentioned afterwards, didn't even look like he broke a sweat. He was planning on winning that thing from the starting line, and the rest of the team completely agreed.
That is fabulous! Mama must be so proud. Shark Boy must be happy. Sounds like he's a goal-setter.
Sarah - It's funny because another kid told one of the coaches that Shark didn't seem very into it this year in practice, and she said, "You wait. He's saving it for race day."I thought I would cry when I saw him so far out in front - I was so excited for him!Dandelions - Thanks! He's a runner - no question about that.
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! Congratulations Shark Boy! Well done, very well done indeed! And Amy? I can see you beaming with pride from here! :-)
Auds - True. So true. (SQUEE!)

Ice skating, and now running. I think you have a future jock on your hands!
Woo-hoo. There's nothing like it.
Superb photo though I would be a tad worried that girl in the ice skating photo may steal a little of his focus in years to come.
Oh don't ya love that proud feeling you could just bust! Don't ya know he loved the feeling too!!
Awesome!! Congratulations, dude!!
