Sugarplum works as Creative Director for a company that owns women's boutiques. As a stylist, part of her job is to choose models, choose outfits, pick out photos for ad campaigns, and that kind of fun stuff.



A couple weeks ago, she worked with Dwight Eubanks, the stylist on Real Housewives of Atlanta, on a fashion show attended by the Real Housewives. (I don't watch this show, but I know from Twitter that it's very popular.)



Recently, the boutique needed some quickie photos of a handful of looks from their fall line up. They told her to model the clothes herself and not spend time working with a model. When they discussed photographers, she said her mom takes pictures so she'd just ask me to do it.



I thought it would be fun to try fashion photography. Then I got nervous. They actually need these pictures for ads. I can take pictures of dew drops and roses and stuff but this is really different.



I don't have professional equipment. Or, you know, professional knowledge.



I did have a cute model who knew exactly what she needed and was easy to work with.



My personal favorites are the ones in the pasture.

I would love to have that hair.

They are very Ralph Lauren. If Ralph Lauren grabbed some mom off the street to shoot his magazine spread, that is.



I don't know about the quality of these pictures, but the girl is really sweet.
