We went camping and it rained the whole time.
It didn't stop us though.
The rain turned everything to mud.
So we were all wet and very muddy.
Awesome dog shake.
Did I mention the mud?
It was primitive camping (no facilities).
But it all worked out just fine.

Great pictures....rain, mud and camping and fun are not usually words I use together. But in pictures it looks super fun...love the last picture save that for senior graduation black mail!

I think it's awesome how you'll go camping in the rain and mud without facilities AND go glamorously dressed to the symphony. I don't have that kind of range. (The canoeing shot is my favorite.)
Frau and Jamie - The last shot is great, but I missed the one of the two of them side by side when they first stumbled out of the tent in the morning! I was still tangled up in my sleeping bag - could see them, but the camera was locked in the truck because the tent was leaking - grrr.

I really like the canoe shot. You may as well make the best of these times...it is the times like these that your kids will always remember...remember when we went camping in the rain...they will say as they get older. all the perfect stuff will just fall out of view after a while.

Wait, having boys, I'd think they would PRAY for rain and mud and everything gross and yucky. For my boys, it would just make the whole trip BETTER! HA!

I'm so impressed...primitive camping! Not me...I have to have a bathroom and someplace to take a shower! A Holiday Inn suits me just fine! :D
