Weekly Winners - Summer Flower Backlog

From the Month of June

In blatant violation of the rules (I'm sorry!) I'm posting some winners from June because it's been THAT LONG since I've been able to do Weekly Winners.

Visit lovely Lotus for more Weekly Winners by people who follow the rules.

Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, Nashville

Weirdly - this came out of the camera this way, though it looks post-processed.

Sonoma Country, California

The Sonoma flowers are magnificent. I got a little lost in the lavender of the hydrangea and the peach of the rose. Sigh. Jake and I went to Sonoma for a day on our honeymoon 12 Junes ago and I remember the little of it we saw being quite beautiful. I always enjoy your Weekly Winners.

Okay, so I didn't know I was waiting, but it turns out the wait was worth it.

They're luscious.

Thanks for posting them!

Wow. Just stunning. I especially loved the blue hydrangea and the rose next to each other. I can see why you held onto these :)
